Former Palm software dev talks about iPhone
At Maryam’s party I met up with Chris Page, who worked at Palm for a while as a software dev. He also owned an Apple Newton. Of course he’s a member of the iCult, bought his iPhone last night at the Valley Fair store. Anyway, we spent about 15 minutes talking about the iPhone over on Kyte.tv.

To get rid of the keyboard on the iPhone, just tap on the shaded application layer beneath. So if your using the keyboard in Notes, tap on the slightly grayed out notepad to return to the app fullscreen.

I don’t see a shaded area, but as I looked at Notes again just now I realized I completely missed the solution: To dismiss the keyboard and stop editing a note, tap the Done button in the top right corner. I apparently overlooked it because there was already a “+” button there and I didn’t notice that it changed titles.
