Meet Plazes “where are you” founder
Over on ScobleShow we just uploaded a neat interview with Plazes founder, Felix Petersen, and he also gives us a demo of this service that lets you share your location with your friends.
I’ve embedded the demo here, but the interview explains a lot more why this service is getting popular around the world.

Robert, the last three interviews you’ve posted and embedded the interview won’t show up for me… Does this happen to anyone else? It’s weird cause I went through the source and the embed code looks fine. Hmm :/

Sam, they’re working fine here, using Firefox.

I added plazes to my facebook account. Tried to add a “plaze”. Got the following:
“We’re sorry, but something went wrong.
We’ve been notified about this issue and we’ll take a look at it shortly.”
First impressions are lasting ones :(
Seems like a frappr knock off, but I don’t recall frappr every crashing on me.

Well, it appears to have worked (sort of) even with the crash. Except, it thinks Research Triangle Park is in Oklahoma City :) Maybe there’s one there, but I wouldn’t think it would be the first choice.
So I click to edit the address and it asks for a user/pswd. Of course, it didn’t ask for that when I initialized it, so I don’t have an account to edit.
Just not worth the trouble, I’ll be removing it …
